How to Succeed in the Workplace

Join us at our Nova Scotia Works office, 11 Opportunity Lane in Coldbrook for a practical workshop focused on building the skills and knowledge needed to maintain employment and succeed in the workplace.

This session provides information and guidance on employer expectations and the qualities required to be a successful employee.

Participants will gain a better understanding of what it means to be job ready and how to navigate workplace environments effectively.

We'll present:

• What it means to be “job ready”

• The importance of employability (soft) skills and why they matter as much as technical skills

• How to understand and adapt to workplace expectations and culture • Strategies for managing conflict in the workplace

• The importance of continuous learning and skills development • Ways to manage and grow your career over time

• How to balance work and personal life effectively

This workshop will help you build confidence, strengthen your workplace skills, and set yourself up for long-term success.
