Our Nova Scotia Works School Liaison is available in person every Wednesday at Northeast Kings Education Centre to encourage high school youth as they develop their employability skills and connect to employment. Her workspace is just inside the cafeteria.
- Identify employability skills
- Build or review your resume and cover letters
- Learn job search strategies
- Become curious about exploring careers
- Prepare for networking or a job interview
- Support as you find employment now and after high school
- Discuss your question or challenges about employment and careers
She is also available to consult with parents and caregivers with the same youth-focused information.
